Be Involved in Friends of the Rio Grande

You can be a Friend of the Rio Grande! Here's how:

  1. Email the USIBWC Clean Rivers Program to get on our mailing list to learn about basin activities and meetings. Attend our public basin advisory meetings

  2. Become a volunteer monitor. The best program for this is the Texas Stream Team. Contact Leslie Grijalva at USIBWC CRP for information

  3. Organize cleanups near your part of the Rio Grande

  4. Get involved in the Rio Grande Basin activities near you

  5. Submit your Rio Grande academic research papers to the USIBWC CRP so we can include it in our database and let others know about it.

  6. Let us know about what you or other groups are doing in the Rio Grande Basin! Nominate a group for outstanding work in the Rio Grande Basin towards environmental education or research!
