The Friends of the Rio Grande Initiative (FORG) is a
joint effort by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ)
and the United States Section of the International Boundary and Water
Commission (USIBWC).
FORG was set up to
provide the Texas - Mexico border region of the state of Texas with
assistance in promoting environmental awareness in an effort to improve
the quality of the environment along the border.
